We are a multi-channel, team sports company. We proudly serve the needs of the athletes, coaches, athletic directors, administrators and parents that make up this vital community.

Our customers are schools (public, private & charter), travel teams, recreational teams, clubs & leagues, youth & adult, municipalities, governing associations, affiliates and sanctioning bodies, school districts, independent companies and all levels of government, including the United States’ Department of Defense Education Activity.

In keeping with a company that is the World Wide Web’s premier source for team sports uniforms, apparel & equipment, our customers are located throughout the world. Our offices, design and production facilities are based in and around Philadelphia, PA.

We market and coordinate the delivery of high quality team sports products and services at competitive prices. In addition, for select customers, we develop and administrate custom web stores.

Our company’s extraordinary growth has won both regional and national awards. We have been featured in Inc. Magazine’s "Fastest Growing Companies", while at the same time managing to remain family owned & operated.

Cancelling an order  —  Back to top

Cancellation of decorated uniform orders can be done up to 24 business hours from the date of the order has been placed as indicated on the order form. After that time, you will incur a cancellation fee. That fee varies depending on whether you've ordered a stock or custom uniform.

Cancellations cannot be made to Equipment orders or Blank Uniform orders once the order has been placed.

  • Stock uniform: Cancellation fee is 15% of total order price
  • Custom uniform: Cancellation fee is 40% of total order price

Changing an order  —  Back to top

We try to accommodate order changes whenever possible. If changes can not be made within the original timeframe of delivery, we simply treat the requested changes as a new order. A change in the product selected is a new order and the original order is treated as a cancellation. There may be fees involved with the change. Ask your Team Sports Planet representative for details about the specific changes you require and how they can be implemented.

However, any changes to custom⁄sublimated uniforms can not be accommodated after 24 business hours of your order being placed. No changes can be made to equipment orders or blank uniform orders once the order has been placed.

Color Matching  —  Back to top

While we try to get as close as we can to matching the items in your order in the same color, we just can’t guarantee it. Products from different vendors as well products from the same vendor in different fabrics can be expected to have a color variance. This is likely to happen if you’re placing an order for uniforms with accessories such as bags, caps, visor, socks, etc. and/or coach’s shirts.

Also, there may even be a slight color variance within the same uniform due to the different dye lots that produced them

Some of our customers require little assistance. (i.e., We have a LOT of repeat customers; some who are so familiar with how we do things…they could work here!). Other customers need help. And that’s great. Because that’s what we are great at. (Hey, no one ever said being a great coach meant knowing anything about embroidery!)

And we love doing it. We are here to help you. With ANY question you, your team, your organization, the parents…or whomever has. We are here to help! Product specs? Sizing? Shipping? Just ask!

Compliance Questions  —  Back to top

One thing that we simply can not be particularly helpful with is compliance questions. It’s not because we don’t care, we do. And we will attentively adhere to any and all specifications you communicate to us. We take your stated needs very seriously.

It’s just that we can’t be expected to know —in anything resembling any sort of detail— the restrictions and requirements for your league, school district, state, governing agency and so forth.

We literally have customers in every state in the U.S. and dozens of countries around the world. Compliance rules regarding uniforms and equipment vary far more than you might think (or have any reason to know, frankly). This being the case, regarding compliance questions, the "ball’s in your court".

Coordinating  —  Back to top

There’s no real way to avoid minor color variances between different team sports products. (For example, how a Royal Blue baseball cap looks versus how that "same exact color" looks as socks.) Anyone who tells you any different is just not being totally honest. Colors vary, it’s that simple. And they vary based on a variety of factors such as: what type of product it as (as mentioned above); what brand it is; what style within the brand it is and still more.

This being the case, you –as a TSP customer— are best served by our team of coordinating experts. We know our products inside and out. And we know "what goes good with what." And what doesn’t. Most importantly, since we offer so many different brands, we can be totally honest in recommending a different brand that matches better. And yes, we do so even if it’s less expensive. We do that all the time.

Design  —  Back to top

If you have a team emblem (i.e., logo, team name, mascot, etc.) that you love, great! We can use it. (We may have to re-format it and such, but it’d be the same look)

If you need one, our art department would be happy to design one for you based on one of the many emblems we have. You can click here to get some ideas: Team Emblems (on click it opens the screenprint emblems window)

While there are some requirements for using your own team emblem, you don’t have to be a graphic artist or work for NASA to do so. These requirements are listed below.

Artwork can be submitted by e-mail. When you submit your artwork, please include only the images needed to produce your job. This saves you time and spares us from confusion. Also, be sure that you name all your files appropriately (e.g., "Tigers Logo"). Please include your team name in the subject line of the email. Basically, the image should be ready to be reproduced as is. Here are the technical specifications:

Acceptable File Formats:

  • Adobe Illustrator (with fonts saved as outlines)
  • Adobe Photoshop (at least 300dpi resolution, as a .tif or .eps)
  • .TIFF (at least 300dpi resolution)
  • .JPG (at least 300dpi resolution)
  • .BMP (1200 dpi)
Un-Workable File Formats:
  • Microsoft Publisher, Word, Works, Excel, PowerPoint or WordPerfect
  • Adobe InDesign
  • .GIF
NOTE: If you can not send us your artwork in an acceptable file format, we can create your custom team emblem exactly as you want it to appear; there will, however, be an art charge of $25. Requests for a particular font or type style must be accompanied with a font file otherwise we will find and use the closest match we have. We will not purchase fonts specifically for any order. Whether you provide your own or choose one of ours, you can relax! Our design & production process let’s you review and approve your team’s "artwork" (and⁄or make changes) all along the way. There are no surprises. Just a fantastic design team. For your team.

Fill-Ins & Add-Ons  —  Back to top

Fill-ins and add-ons are a fact of life in team sports. That being the case, we try to be as accommodating as possible when your need for 1 or 2 more uniforms arises. That said, certain costs are unavoidable and as such, there is a surcharge of $15.00 for reorders of stock uniforms that is necessary for any reorder under the 12 unit minimum. If your uniform has more than 1 screenprint color and⁄or location the surcharge is $15.00 per color⁄per location. Custom-sewn uniforms must be reordered in quantities of at least 3-6 uniforms (depending on the brand). There is a surcharge of 25% of the blank uniform cost plus $15.00 per screenprint color per location charge. Sublimated Uniforms can be reordered in quantities as few as 1 uniform. The surcharge is $15.00.

Returns & Exchanges  —  Back to top

If you find it necessary to return any purchases, our Customer Service Department would be happy to help you resolve your concerns. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-877-703-2070 and we will address your concerns and make the appropriate arrangements to resolve the situation or receive your return. We understand that changes may need to be made to due sizing issues, etc. We're happy to exchange any STOCK items that have not been decorated, (i.e. screenprinted or numbered) worn or are equipment items. Depending upon the specific exchange there may be a restocking fee of 15%-25% of the order amount. The steps for an exchange⁄return are as follows:

  • Let us know what you'd like to exchange or return and why
  • If the items can be exchanged, we'll provide you with an exchange authorization number and an email to print out and include in the box with your return. We will let you know if there is a restocking fee.
  • Send the items back to us with your Team Name and Exchange Authorization number on the outside of the box.
  • Once we receive the returned items, we will ship your new items out to you.
  • You will be billed for the shipping cost and may incur a restocking fee.
  • Returns and Exchanges will not be accepted after 30 days from the ship date.

International Shipping  —  Back to top

Team Sports Planet is pleased and proud to ship the world over; including but not limited to, APOs & FPOs. Naturally, your next question is "how much?"

The cost to ship an international order is based on the size & weight of the package as well as its insured value. If you would like to receive an estimate we will need to know the package(s) you are looking at as well as the quantities and physical shipping address for delivery. Feel free to email us this information as well as any other questions you may have.

What remains constant is the irrefutable fact that, Team Sports Planet can not, is not, nor should they be misconstrued to be in any way responsible for any and all tariffs, import fees, local charges or costs associated with any international delivery. In short, our international customers bear full responsibility for any and all such costs, including but not limited to: Tariffs, import taxes, transportation fees, international or country specific charges, however defined.

Military Discounts  —  Back to top

Team Sports Planet is proud to offer the men and women who serve in our country's military a 5% discount. This discount can be applied in part to any volume discount achieved. That's a two star bargain!

We ship to APOs and FPOs all the time. We're happy to do so.

Mock-Ups  —  Back to top

After you place your order, we will email you a picture of your uniform in your team colors with your team name or emblem. If you want to make changes to how the emblem or logo looks we'll work with you to get it the way you want it. This way you get your uniforms exactly as you want them — no surprises!

Payment Options  —  Back to top

Team Sports Planet accepts Mastercard, Visa and American Express. We also accept cashiers checks, money orders, checks (or check-by-phone) from your organization or corporate sponsor. We require a 50% deposit with the balance required prior to shipment. If you are paying via check, check-by-phone, or a money order, we require payment IN FULL to begin your order.

Checks will not be accepted for orders that are shipped to you directly from our manufacturers (i.e. drop shipments) or Equipment orders. We require 100% payment in advance for orders that are drop shipped or orders for Equipment.

There will be a $18.00 charge for checks returned for insufficient funds.

A purchase order is acceptable from schools, universities and corporations solely at the discretion of Team Sports Planet management.

Samples  —  Back to top

We do send out uniform samples. We understand that sometimes you want to take a look at the uniforms and feel the fabric, as well as make sure that sizing is accurate. To help out, we'll try to send out representative sizing samples of up to 3 different packages. We can't guarantee that particular styles, colors or sizes will be available for shipping at the time of your request. If samples are available at the time of your request, all we ask is for your credit card information, which we do not charge as long as the samples are returned within 3 weeks. We pay for UPS Ground shipping to you and include a prepaid UPS return label for your convenience. If you choose to keep the samples, you will be billed for them at the resale price. Unfortunately, we don't ship samples to Hawaii, Alaska or internationally.

Any sample requests from outside the contiguous 48 states will have to be purchased. If you have specific sample requests (i.e. you want the samples in a particular color or you need a full size run) those samples must be purchased. If you decide to return the samples without placing an order, you will credited the full purchase price less a 25% restocking fee and shipping costs. If you decide to place a team order, the samples can be used toward your order. We do not provide samples of socks, headwear, coach's shirts or equipment.

Our standard shipping method is UPS Ground. Shipping charges for UPS Ground and expedited shipping are below. Larger Orders, multiple box orders, AND orders shipped outside the contiguous U.S will be priced individually.

Drop Ship Orders (orders shipped directly from our manufacturers for rush requests) will be priced per the rates specified in the drop ship rates price chart below. The chart below does not apply to equipment orders. Shipping costs for equipment orders are 13.5% of the order total.

Please keep in mind that when purchasing blanks, we will more often than not be "drop shipping" them directly from the manufacturer to expedite the shipping process, meaning the only indication that these goods were purchased from Team Sports Planet will be on the packing slip. Also, keep in mind that our manufacturing partners use a variety of shipping means (UPS, FedEx, etc.) In most cases, we can not dictate these means or respond to any preference that you may have in this regard.

Likewise keep in mind that, even when drop shipping, there takes some time for an order to be processed, both by us and the manufacturer. This time period varies by manufacturer, but it (the order processing time) is almost never "overnight".

In either case, stock or custom, please note that there will also be shipping time added to the picking or production time. In some limited instances, we may be able to expedite shipping (e.g., 2nd day versus ground) but with most orders and manufacturers, we can not. Ask your representative for details when placing your order.

Due to the unique nature and timeframes pre-payment in full is required to purchase all blank goods. For drop shipping costs, see below

We do offer volume discounts. The volume discount rates are shown below. They apply to uniform sets that are exactly the same package in the same colors.

Volume discounts ONLY apply to full uniform packages that are exactly the same. Volume discounts do not apply to socks.

    Volume Discounts for Uniforms:
  • 25-49 sets (same) 5% discount
  • 50-99 sets (same) 7% discount
  • 100+ sets (same) 10% discount
Volume discounts for equipment are available on a case by case basis. Contact our sales department for additional information about a specific order.

Please ask about our Under Armour team discounts as well. They apply to all team orders of 12 or more.

We know that it is often necessary (or just plain helpful) for TSP to send you a written estimate prior to purchase. We’re happy to do so. All we ask is that we communicate (via phone and⁄or email) with you to such a degree that we can prepare an accurate estimate, one that both meets your needs & reflects the cost associated in our doing so. Just Ask!
